Eladio de Mora – Siren
Siren is a modern sculpture by Eladio de Mora (dEmo) and Manu Fernandez created in 2012 as a part of the Fashion Art project. A true to life, full sized dress, it is a fusion of fashion and art brought to life by dEmo’s style and vibrant colors.
The Siren seduces you with a smile, without losing sight of the fact that sculpture is not an object, but a question and an engine of thought.
Fashion Art by Manuel Fernandez is a collaboration between visual artists and fashion designers, in which their respective languages are combined to create a dress that is an authentic work of art. It is a project that is in constant evolution, where the fusion of Art and Fashion takes place in the eye of the spectator with the artists’ work taking center stage and the dress as the underlying canvas it is displayed on.
