Virgin of the Parque del Oeste
This monument is located In the Parque del Oeste, close to the Paseo de Camoens in Madrid, Spain. It depicts a beautiful Virgin holding a child, standing on a globe of the earth, surrounded by Angels.
It is known by many names, including the Esposa de Dios as well as the Columna a la “Santísima Virgen” and has the following inscription “ESPOSA DE DIOS ESPÍRITU SANTO – HIJA DE DIOS PADRE”
It is a beautiful and little-known National Monument dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, and has the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary depicted around its pillar.
