Statue of Moses Maimonides

This statue of Moses Maimonides is located in the Jewish Quarter in Cordoba, Spain. Moses ben Maimon was a medieval Sephardic Jewish philosopher, he was commonly known as Maimonides and is also referred to by the acronym Rambam.

He became one of the most prolific and influential Torah scholars of the Middle Ages. In his time, he was also a preeminent astronomer and physician.
